What information Shark Capital collects, why we collect it, how it is stored and shared, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Shark Capital is a Florida limited liability company providing credit repair, funding and credit building, tradeline guidance, mortgage support, tax filing, entity formation and remote online notary services to clients across the United States.
This policy covers information collected through this website, through our forms, and in the course of providing our services. If you engage us for a service, additional terms in your client agreement will also apply.
No form on this site asks for an SSN or ITIN. If a service requires one — entity formation and tax filing typically do — it is collected after you become a client, through a secure encrypted channel, never by web form, email or text message.
Where a service genuinely requires sensitive identifiers or identity documents, we collect them at the point they are needed rather than up front, we limit access to the staff working on your file, and we use them only for the purpose you provided them for.
Please do not send us Social Security numbers, ITINs, full account numbers, passwords or images of identity documents by email or text message. If we need them, we will send you a secure link.
| Purpose | What it involves |
|---|---|
| Responding to enquiries | Contacting you about a consultation you requested and answering your questions |
| Providing our services | Carrying out the work you have engaged us for, including filings and disputes |
| Account communication | Appointment confirmations, document requests and status updates by phone, email or SMS |
| Assigning your representative | Routing your file to the representative covering your region |
| Legal and regulatory compliance | Meeting record-keeping, tax, notarial and identity verification obligations |
| Improving the site | Understanding which pages are useful and where people get stuck |
If you engage us for credit repair, we may access your credit reports with your written authorisation. That authorisation is specific, revocable and given separately from this policy.
We use credit report information only to review your file, identify entries that may be disputable, and prepare and submit disputes on your behalf. We do not use it for marketing, we do not share it with other clients or partners, and we do not retain it beyond the period described below.
You have rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including the right to obtain your own reports and to dispute inaccurate information directly with the credit bureaus at no cost. Engaging us does not remove or limit those rights.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for aggregators and providers of the text message services that operate on our behalf.
Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted so we can deliver and respond to messages. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any other third parties.
For the full messaging program terms, including how to opt out, see our SMS terms.
Information is held in access-controlled systems, encrypted in transit, with access limited to staff who need it for your file. Documents containing sensitive identifiers are stored separately from general contact records and are not included in routine exports or reports.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:
Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to appeal a refused request. We apply the same process to everyone regardless of where you live.
To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message. See our SMS terms for detail.
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted here with a new date. Where changes materially affect how we handle your information, we will notify clients directly.
